The recent inflation acceleration is not happening solely because of tariffs, but tariffs are contributing to the higher YoY inflation rates, in both CPI and PCE.
What else is contributing?
M2 growth is accelerating.
Credit growth is accelerating.
Nominal wage growth is still robust.
Government spending is on the rise.
