Recently, I came across something quite interesting on the blockchain - @ letsdivvi's Slices. To my surprise, this project has also received support from top institutions such as a16z and Polychain. The project is still in its early stages and there are not many participants, so it is highly likely to be a major player in the future. And Slices cannot be bought, they can only earn on chain points through real actions.
What are Slices?
Imagine Web3 as a growing cake.
You are either watching the excitement nearby, or helping to knead, add ingredients, and light the fire.
The gameplay of Divvi is:
Whoever really does something on the chain (recruiting people, adding TVL, running transactions, and developing projects) will receive a slice of cake.
It is not an airdrop promise that can be obtained by making a wish with the mouth, but a real chain action that counts.
How to earn Slices?
Divvi has provided several appetizers that are suitable for different types of people:
one ️⃣ Rotate the Slices lottery machine - you can still get Slices in the lottery, you won't lose for nothing; Participating address : https://slices.divvi.xyz/earn
two ️⃣ Using supported applications - you already want to trade/interact, but now you can easily earn Slices.
three ️⃣ Doing Galxe tasks - the familiar set, but the rewards go straight to Slices; Participating address : https://(galxe.com)/divvi
four ️⃣ On chain development of real projects - developers can also be directly recognized, no longer being behind the scenes workers.
New gameplay: Slices betting!
I laughed at this as soon as I saw it, it's like playing "on chain points" with a bit of Polymarket guessing flavor.
Divvi will have several issues related to on chain events every week.
(For example, in the recent event: Circulation USDT event, which of the following chains will have the most activity before 2am UTC on August 21st?)? )
You can put the Slices in your hand.
Did you bet right? Split Slices prize pool!
Did you bet wrong? Sorry, Slices flew away.
This transforms Slices from "static integration" to "dynamic chips". Not only do you need to be able to earn, but you also need to be able to use it. It's a bit like a hybrid of predicting the market and community games.
Why do I think Divvi is interesting and has great potential for future value?
Because the biggest problem with Web3 in the past was:
The person who truly contributed did not receive the reward
Robots and wool gatherers take away most of the benefits
Divvi is trying to change this rule: only rewarding real on chain influences. You can attract new customers, increase trading volume, and contribute liquidity, all of which are visible on the entire chain and cannot be falsified. To put it simply, Divvi is building an "on chain growth points system". Slices may only be points now, but in the future it could be tickets, chips, governance rights... Anyway, getting a little early won't hurt.
At present, the project has only 2100+Twitter followers, which is in the early stage, and it is endorsed by top institutions. The project is not very popular yet, and the earlier you participate, the more opportunities for Slices points. And Slices cannot be bought, only earned. Every slice is an 'early trace' left by you.
What can be done now:
Go to the lottery machine and take a spin
• Use several Divvi supported applications
• Complete Galxe tasks
Try Slices betting and experience this serious and fun loop
Just like Divvi's slogan: Every on chain action is expanding the cake of Web3. Slices , Not only can you watch others eat, but you can also get your own piece of cake.
