He stated that he will help lead the collaboration between this cryptocurrency company and large financial institutions. Al Niama worked at American Express for four years before transferring to Goldman Sachs in 2015 and ultimately being promoted to regional head of the company's digital asset division. One initiative he led was Goldman Sachs and Bank of New York (BNY) announcing a partnership in July to launch a tokenized money market fund.
