Robinhood is applying for a Dubai financial services license
According to Golden Finance, Robinhood has submitted a license application to the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to conduct foreign exchange and other trading services in the United Arab Emirates. The company has appointed Mario Camara, a senior executive with extensive experience in financial services licensing and operations, to be responsible for its Dubai business.
After obtaining the DFSA license, Robinhood can not only provide services to UAE users, but also use Dubai as a base to expand the entire Middle East and North Africa market. At present, Robinhood only operates in the United States, United Kingdom, and some European markets, and has not yet conducted business in the Middle East and North Africa region.
