Foresight News reported that Linea has released its latest roadmap, which will focus on four major directions in the next nine months: performance improvement, Ethereum compatibility, trust minimization, and capital efficiency. Performance: In the fourth quarter of 2025, the throughput will be increased to 0.5 gGas/s (approximately 5000 TPS), supporting transaction pre confirmation (confirmation within 250 milliseconds); Reduce cross chain and CEX access time to approximately 15 minutes in the first quarter of 2026; Ethereum alignment: In the third quarter, a burning mechanism (20% ETH transaction fee burning, 80% repurchase and destruction LINEA) will be launched, and Type-1 zkEVM will be implemented in the first quarter of 2026, with a full equivalent Ethereum storage structure and simplified development integration. Minimize trust: Achieve Stage-1 in the fourth quarter, allowing users to safely transact and withdraw funds even in the event of operator failures or reviews; Introduce a multi proof system in the first quarter of 2026 to enhance security; Capital efficiency: Native Yield will be launched in the fourth quarter, where ETH deposits can generate staking income, which will be distributed to DeFi liquidity providers.
