BlockBeats News: On July 30th, the Bitcoin modular infrastructure project Super Modular X Protocol (MX) announced a significant technological breakthrough in achieving full protocol asset modular abstraction and cross chain combination verification on the Bitcoin mainnet. ModulaX provides a universal module framework for the Bitcoin network, supporting unified encapsulation and interaction of existing and future protocol assets, including but not limited to Taproot, Ordinals, etc. It can be extended to Layer 2 or scaling solutions such as Ark and BitVM in the future. Its core architecture is based on the UTXO layer verification mechanism abstraction, combined with modular script components design, decoupling the combination and verification of protocol assets from low-level script implementation, and transitioning to standardized module calls, composable interfaces, and verifiable states. In this way, developers can build cross protocol applications and asset portfolios based on ModulaX without directly manipulating complex scripts or rewriting transaction verification logic. Furthermore, ModulaX introduces the Heterogeneous Chain Verification Extension to enable secure mapping and combinatorial interaction of assets and states on non Bitcoin chains such as EVM and Solana on the Bitcoin network. This architecture uses State less Verification Modules and Modular Relay Bridges to ensure the finality, security, and minimum trust assumptions of the Bitcoin mainnet are maintained during cross chain interactions.
