David Wright is now headed back to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for a new 5-year term through June 2030 and will be reappointed chair by President Trump, following Senate 50-39 party line confirmation. He had served on the NRC since 2018 & was appointed as chair by Trump in January though his term expired June 30.(Craig Caplan)
