Odaily Planet Daily News: Chris Gorman, CEO of KeyCorp Bank, which manages $185 billion in assets, said that stablecoins have a "promising future" and are a high-quality solution for customers. During an interview with CNBC's "Squawk on the Street" program, Gorman talked about the legislation on stablecoins in the United States. He pointed out that stablecoins are faster, cheaper, and better, and are a "truly high-quality solution for customers". He emphasized the value storage function of stablecoins and stated that KeyCorp bank customers hope to hold stablecoins in their wallets, and the bank will provide convenience for this. Gorman believes that the discussion about whether stablecoins will erode bank deposits is a threat, but not an immediate threat, and that the industry will respond. The bank plans to provide customers with cryptocurrency trading and storage services through its banking platform. (CNBC)
