Wu Shuo learned that FTX announced the record date for the next round of debt distribution as August 15, 2025, and is expected to start issuing on September 30, applicable to approved Class 5 customer debts, Class 6 ordinary unsecured debts, and previously undistributed convenience debts. Meanwhile, FTX has received court approval to lower its disputed debt reserve from $6.5 billion to $4.3 billion, releasing nearly $1.9 billion in cash for this round of distribution.
