Aptos has now integrated the full chain token standard WBTC-OFT launched by LayerZero, allowing users to cross chain Bitcoin to Aptos through a destruction casting mechanism. This mechanism is hosted by BitGo and cross chain verification is provided by LayerZero. Aptos has currently accumulated over $430 million in BTC backed assets and $1.35 billion in stablecoin liquidity.
