On July 19th, NIO's legal department issued a solemn statement regarding malicious online rumors: "Recently, some online accounts have maliciously posted false information against our company and employees, deliberately fabricating and spreading false content such as' Ledao Automobile employees participating in manipulating black public relations' and 'hiring water armies to attack friendly businesses'. Such statements seriously violate the facts and are purely malicious slander and defamation of Ledao Automobile and our employees. We have noticed that online accounts, including' Awen Jianji ', are forwarding and commenting without confirming the authenticity of the content. A so-called report screenshot has circulated online, showing that' virtual currency transaction details', 'evidence compilation materials' and other content are fabricated out of thin air and generated through AI. Spreading rumors and false information. NIO always adheres to legal and compliant operations, and firmly opposes any form of online black PR and online water army behavior. In response to this malicious rumor and defamation behavior, our company has reported it to the public security organs and will resolutely take legal measures to hold the relevant parties legally responsible, in order to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the company and employees, and defend a good environment for fair competition in the industry
