Odaily Planet Daily News: According to foreign media reports, EU envoys will hold a meeting as early as this week to develop a response plan for a possible "no agreement" situation with US President Trump. Before the deadline of August 1st, Trump's stance on tariff negotiations is seen to have become tough. Although the vast majority of people tend to let the negotiations in Washington continue in order to reach a resolution to the deadlock before the deadline next month. But according to insiders, efforts from all parties have not made sustained progress since the talks held in Washington last week. The negotiations will continue in the next two weeks. According to anonymous sources, the United States now seems to want to impose tariffs of more than 10% on EU goods, with exemptions increasingly limited to the aviation industry, some medical equipment and generic drugs, certain alcoholic beverages, and a specific type of manufacturing equipment needed by the United States.
