Roger Ver faces 109 years in prison for tax evasion, sues Spain for blocking extradition to the United States

According to Golden Finance, Roger Ver, an early supporter of Bitcoin, is wanted by the US on suspicion of tax evasion and may face 109 years in prison. He sued Spain in an attempt to prevent his extradition to the United States. The US side claims that it evaded the "exit tax" when giving up its US citizenship and concealed a huge amount of cryptocurrency income, involving approximately $48 million in taxes. Ver has filed a lawsuit with the European Court of Justice and publicly sought external support for himself.
