Analysis: The monthly core CPI rate in June in the United States meets the target, which may pave the way for interest rate cuts

PANews|Jul 15, 2025 12:42
According to a report by JinShi, the seasonally adjusted core CPI rate in the United States recorded 0.2% in June, which is indeed in line with the Federal Reserve's target, so this is good news for policy makers. Although this may not be enough to prompt the Federal Reserve to decide to cut interest rates in two weeks, if the inflation data for July remains at this level, the Fed will face significant pressure to maintain its current interest rate policy.
