Cryptocurrency fraudster Nicholas Truglia sentenced to 12 years in prison for refusing to pay $20 million in compensation

According to Golden Finance, Nicholas Truglia, who was sentenced to 18 months in prison for stealing $20 million in encrypted assets through SIM card tampering, has now been sentenced to another 12 years in prison for failing to pay compensation to the victims. According to court documents, Truglia not only failed to fulfill its compensation obligations, but also spent nearly $92000 on luxury goods.
