GMX suspected to have stolen over $40 million
According to community reports, the decentralized perpetual contract platform GMX on Arbitrarum and Avalanche is suspected to have been attacked for approximately $40 million. At present, GMX has not officially released a statement regarding the incident. Web3 security company ExVul tweeted that GMX has been hacked.
According to Yu Jin's report, the GMX platform is suspected to have been hacked an hour and a half ago, resulting in a loss of assets worth approximately $42 million, involving multiple cryptocurrencies such as WBTC, WETH, UNI, FRAX, LINK, USDC, and USDT. It is reported that the initial funds used by hackers for this attack were transferred through Tornado two days ago, indicating that the incident was premeditated.
