Today, as part of the ongoing CARICOM Heads of Government Meeting, I had the honour of welcoming the Secretary-General of the Organisation of American States (OAS), Albert Ramdin for a courtesy call. We discussed deepening collaboration between Jamaica, CARICOM, and the OAS, particularly in areas of regional security, governance, democracy, and institutional strengthening. At a time when hemispheric cooperation is more critical than ever, I reaffirmed Jamaica’s commitment to working closely with the OAS to advance peace, stability, and shared development across the region.
