According to Zhitong Finance citing the website of the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, even if Musk really takes the step of forming a new political party, he may not be able to become a suitable leader. The moment that Musk desperately tried to prevent has finally arrived: Trump's tax and spending bill has finally become a reality. Musk had warned that he would establish a new political party, the "American Party," the day after the bill was passed. But Republican senators and representatives in Congress largely ignored the loud intimidation of the world's richest man. In the end, only three Republicans voted against in the Senate and two Republicans voted against in the House of Representatives. The report believes that Musk's political influence mainly comes from his wealth and social platform X. Now, Musk's public reputation has been severely damaged. A survey released by Kunipiak University in June showed that only 30% of respondents had a favorable impression of him, while 57% had a negative impression of him. Such low popularity indicates that even if he really takes the step of forming a new political party, he will find it difficult to become a suitable leader.
