You mention her shopping at @Walmart - are you outraged that Walmart has secured over 1.2 billion in subsidies since the 1980s. What if she shopped at @amazon? Amazon’s received over 6.7 billion in public subsidies since 2000. Since 2000, Boeing’s received nearly 16 billion. Intel’s received over 3.3 billion since 1994. GM’s received over 1.7 billion in subsidies since 1986. Were you outraged when the U.S. government BAILED OUT General Motors, using taxpayer money, because GM made shitty cars the public didn’t want but still paid big bonuses to its CEOs?
