There is no development without water. No growth, no industry, no housing, no quality of life. That is why this Government has made water resilience one of our top national priorities. Today, we broke ground on Phase 1 of the Western Water Resilience Project, a major investment that will radically improve the reliability and reach of water supply across western Jamaica. For decades, Jamaica has struggled with inconsistent access. Communities have gone dry. Families have waited. Promises were made and broken. But we are changing that. This project is about building the kind of infrastructure that can carry Jamaica forward in times of drought and in times of calm.
