The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has announced the launch of the first blockchain bond in the Central and North African region, issued by First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) through HSBC's digital asset platform Orion. The bond supports registration and trading on the blockchain and is planned to be open to global institutional investors through channels such as Euroclear, Clearstream, and the Hong Kong Central Depository and Clearing System.
