I ran a 36hour study on attestation arrival times on ethereum mainnet (slot 12029000 -> 12039000) to better understand how quickly my local Prysm node sees validated attestations across all subnets. This matters for reorg resistance & evaluating timing slack for slot reconstruction proposals. While similar data exists via Xatu, I wanted a local perspective. Results show fast arrival up to a point, with meaningful delays beyond 66% mark. - 50% of attestations arrive within 1s in most slots - 66% is also usually reached under 1s - 80%+ starts showing a longer tail, with arrivals stretching to 5-6s More there: https://hackmd.io/@tchain/att-arrival-timing
