Web3 security and analytics company FuzzLand recently disclosed a security incident involving the Bedrock UniBTC protocol. Officially, a former employee used internal permissions and advanced persistent threat techniques to steal sensitive system information for three weeks, ultimately leading to the protocol being attacked. The incident originated from a Dedaub vulnerability report where relevant intelligence was illegally obtained. Fuzzland has compensated the damaged party and cooperated with security companies and law enforcement agencies to investigate. The company stated that customer data was not affected and shared the lessons learned from this incident, calling on the crypto community to strengthen supply chain security, permission management, and employee identity verification to jointly enhance industry defense capabilities.
