Coinbase Futures Contract Platform plans to include USDC as eligible collateral for US futures trading this year

According to Foresight News, Coinbase Derivatives has selected clearing firm Nodal Clear to collaborate with and plan to include Circle's stablecoin USDC as eligible collateral for US futures trading by 2026, as reported by The Block. Boris Ilyevsky, CEO of Coinbase Derivatives, said, "Currently, fiat currency is recognized by clearing houses as a form of collateral that meets margin requirements. Our collaboration now includes plans to convert USDC into a fiat currency equivalent
