If you're still struggling to implement AI in your daily life, this post is for you.
One of the biggest complaints about AI is that it's not "practical" to implement.
Here are some convenient (low-hanging fruit) ways to start using AI daily:
1. Replace your Google searches
Instead of digging through 10 tabs and scrolling web pages, just have AI find exactly what you need.
You'll learn a LOT about AI just by replacing Google with an AI-powered solution (like ChatGPT).
2. Use AI-powered Chrome extensions
There are many "AI assistant" Chrome extensions you can add to your daily workflow to increase productivity.
This is the fastest way to start working closely with AI on daily tasks (Docs, Slides, Gmail, browsing the web, etc.)
3. Voice notes dump
This is something I still do daily.
Open ChatGPT and do a complete brain dump (on any topic).
From there, you can ask for new ideas, blindspots in your ideology, and more.
This mimics having an actual conversation with an LLM.
4. Make AI your assistant
Gemini is probably the best model for this. You can start to manage your entire Google Workspace through Gemini.
Instead of looking for emails, docs, etc. just have AI source exactly what you need.
5. Start building/experimenting
This is the most complicated of the list, but it's also one of the highest leverage.
Some ideas here:
Use tools like Zapier and n8n to build automation flows.
Build custom GPTs.
Use Claude to build apps you need.
Using AI in your daily life is as complicated as you want it to be.
