The speed of foreign capital inflows into US assets is accelerating again
According to data from Bank of America, foreign purchases of US assets are expected to reach $138 billion by 2025, the second highest in history.
Since 2020, overseas investors have invested $547 billion in US assets. This growth is mainly driven by US stock funds, with net inflows expected to reach $136 billion this year, the second highest since 2024.
Talking to people means that a large number of investors from outside the United States are buying back US stocks (including ETFs), which has driven the increase in US stock liquidity.
