According to Caixin News Agency, four insiders revealed to Reuters that the White House has instructed the Department of Defense and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to collect detailed information about SpaceX's multi billion dollar contract after a public argument between Trump and Musk. According to informed sources, the US government has initiated relevant reviews and requested relevant agencies to carefully examine the contracts obtained by Musk and his company, in order to prepare for possible retaliatory measures. The Pentagon is also evaluating whether to weaken SpaceX's involvement in the US next-generation missile defense system project. In response to an email from Reuters, a White House spokesperson did not respond to Musk's business questions, stating only that "the Trump administration is committed to a rigorous review process for all bids and contracts." According to a NASA spokesperson, the agency "will continue to collaborate with industry partners to ensure that the president's goals in space are achieved." Insiders pointed out that the purpose of this contract review is to enable the government to respond quickly when Trump decides to take action against Musk. One of the insiders said, 'This review is preparing ammunition for political struggle.'.
