Lots of confusion on the profit dominance signal. Isn’t every ATH indicating 100% in profit? Yes. High profit dominance is a risk. And risk can remain high for a while. But on average high risk zones lead to a dip. After the dip happens if profit dominance is reset to a historically low level, it is a bullish sign. If not, it is likely that the dip is not complete. Additionally high profit dominance only shows the “likelihood of selling”. It does not show the demand side or entry of nee investors. So yes profit dominance at the pico top is always 100% so you cannot tell much from it but if after a dip it does not reset it shows you still have further downside. In essence the speed of reset shows how many people had bought the ATH which is a very valuable signal.
