Plasma: Initial deposit increase to $250 million, personal deposit limit to $50 million

Odaily Planet Daily News: The stablecoin project Plasma officially announced on X platform that, based on community feedback, it has decided to increase the initial deposit limit to $250 million to support fairness, inclusiveness, and broad participation. Personal deposits will be limited to $50 million. Previously, the stablecoin project Plasma received strategic investment from Peter Thiel's Founders Fund. In February of this year, it announced the completion of a $24 million funding round ($20 million Series A and $4 million Seed Series), led by Framework Ventures, with participation from cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex, risk investor Peter Thiel, and Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino.
