Metaplanet executive: Japan should open its capital market to allow free trading of Strategy preferred stocks

Odaily Planet Daily News: Shinpei Okuno, the head of Metaplanet Capital Strategy, stated in an article on X platform that preferred stocks are an undeveloped capital market area in Japan, and currently there are almost no listed preferred stocks in Japan's capital market (possibly only three companies: Ito, SoftBank, and Infrania). Okuno Shinpei added that the preferred stock strategy can attract a wide range of investors by providing financial products supported by Bitcoin. It would be beneficial if Strategy's preferred stocks, such as STRF/STRK/STRD, could be freely traded on the Japanese capital market, as companies adopting a Bitcoin reserve strategy may have the greatest potential to create fixed dividend products supported by Bitcoin.
