Trump says relationship with Musk 'over'

According to CCTV News, on June 7th local time, US President Trump stated that if Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk fund Democratic candidates who oppose the Republican budget, they will face "very serious consequences".
Trump said, "If he does this, he will pay the price for it," but did not disclose specific measures. Trump added that he has no intention of repairing his relationship with Musk, "I think this relationship is over
The two recently clashed publicly on social media over the Republican led budget, with Trump calling Musk "extremely disrespectful to the presidency. Previously, Musk criticized the massive tax and spending bills pushed by the US government on social media platform X, attacked Trump, and even reposted content related to Jeffrey Epstein before deleting it.
Trump responded by stating that the allegations against Epstein are "old events" and denied any association with them.
In addition, Trump has threatened to have the authority to cancel government contracts and subsidies for Musk's companies, although no action has been taken so far. He emphasized that the Republican Party is unprecedentedly united and optimistic about the smooth passage of the budget.
