On June 7th, according to official data from the People's Bank of China, China's gold reserves at the end of May were reported at 73.83 million ounces (approximately 2296.37 tons), an increase of 60000 ounces (approximately 1.86 tons) month on month, marking the seventh consecutive month of increased gold holdings.
