Independent miners successfully mined Bitcoin blocks through computing power leasing and received a reward of $330000

According to The Block, on Thursday, an independent miner successfully mined block 899826 using CKpool's standalone mining software and received a reward of 3.15 BTC (approximately $330000), including $327600 in block subsidies and $2761 in transaction fees. CKpool developer Con Kolivas pointed out that the miner increased the hash rate from 6.11 PH/s per week to 261 PH/s by temporarily leasing computing power, with a probability of about 1/3050 (at that time, the network computing power was 796 EH/s) to complete mining. This is the 300th block in CKpool's history to be mined by independent miners, and a similar case occurred in April 2024.
