As creatives and developers increasingly use the same AI-native tools, the boundary between the worlds of content creation and software development is blurring. In a conversation with @getcaptionsapp's @gmharhar and @FenwickWest’s Ian Goldstein at NY Tech Week, @andrewchen described this shift as a broader transformation in how people make things online. What used to require cameras, crews, or code can now be done with simple interfaces and prompts. “You think of content creation and app development as two different things,” he said. “But what if you thought of them as the same thing?” As those two worlds converge, the result may be more than just increased productivity, it could reshape cultural output itself. “In the sort of AI utopia version of this,” Chen said, “we’re not just going to have 2x or 10x more culture. We might have a thousand, or a million, times more.” Follow @techweek_ for more from #NYTechWeek.
