Elon Musk: XChat goes live, supports "Bitcoin style" encryption and cross platform calling

Elon Musk announced the launch of a new private communication feature called XChat on the X platform, which supports end-to-end encryption, read and burn messages, arbitrary file transfer, and voice and video calls without a phone number. This feature is developed in Rust language and adopts a cryptographic architecture similar to Bitcoin.
