Having been through the hype myself... learned this first hand. Building great products is very hard. We are immersed in an adjacent financial culture of people actively trying to get rich as quick as possible, which just encourages more people promising those opportunities. These people don't care about or want a great product. The token is the product to them. They're never gonna play your game or buy your experience. So the fundamental problem is that the people hyping these things are not actually users, and once they've gotten paid they have no loyalty. Hot take: you can't build a successful commercial business and do an airdrop. Either you're building something people buy, or you're a ponzi scheme for early to get free money. Pick one, and don't bullshit yourself.
