Voting for the 2025 Cardano Constitutional Committee (CC) Elections is upcoming, starting on June 5, with all seven seats up for selection. What started as an interim body is now being handed over to the community through an inclusive, democratic approach to form a new, fully elected CC. Upon conclusion, the audited results of the election, identifying the seven new Constitutional Committee members and their term lengths, will be announced. All voting data will also be publicly available. To continue supporting our commitment to fostering greater decentralization in governance matters, EMURGO will conclude its interim CC term limit in September and not seek election to the new CC. We feel that there are suitable candidates who will serve the best interests of Cardano and that the ecosystem is in the good hands of the community. While we do not anticipate having to do so, if there is a need to run again in the future, it is something we may consider to support the governance of the ecosystem. We have been fortunate and are grateful for the opportunity to have served alongside others in the ICC and look forward to helping the community, Intersect, and other ICC members work together for a seamless transition.
