According to The Block, multiple personal information of Solana co-founder Raj Gokal was leaked through an Instagram account representing the American rap group Migos. Migos' Instagram account has 13 million followers and appeared to have been hacked on Monday night, posting seven photos including Raj Gokal's unedited selfie holding his driver's license and passport. The leaked photos also include a female user, reportedly Gokal's wife, holding a driver's license. Another post showcased Gokal's leaked personal data, including his phone number, and the uploader encouraged viewers to send 'spam' to the Solana co-founder. One of the posts explicitly claimed that Gokal "should" pay 40 bitcoins, implying the possibility of extortion. The post has now been deleted.
On May 20th, Solana co-founder Raj Goka stated that attackers have been continuously attempting to control their email, social media, Google, Apple, and other accounts over the past week. He reminded users that if abnormal content (such as sending coins, fundraising, etc.) is found in their accounts, it is highly likely to be caused by hacking, and called on users to remain vigilant.
