According to BlockBeats, on May 22nd, Sui officially announced that "we have learned that a smart contract of Cetus was attacked today, resulting in a loss of approximately $223 million. After the incident, Cetus has suspended its smart contracts to prevent further fund theft. Cetus is working closely with other DeFi protocols, Sui Foundation, and Sui network validators to protect the entire ecosystem. A large number of validators have identified the addresses of the funds involved and will refuse to process transactions from these addresses until further notice.
