Katherine Reilly appointed as Acting Inspector General of the US SEC
According to the SEC announcement, Katherine Reilly has taken over as Acting Inspector General of the SEC, replacing retired Deborah Jeffrey. Reilly has been serving in the Office of the SEC Inspector General since 2020 and has held legal and supervisory positions at the FTC, USPS, and Department of Justice.
She holds a law degree from the University of Texas and a master's degree in law from the University of Melbourne, and will continue to promote SEC regulatory efficiency and transparency in her new position.
