According to Cointelegraph, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) recently seized multiple assets of a Queensland man, including nearly 25 bitcoins, a waterfront mansion, and a Mercedes Benz car, with a total value of approximately $2.9 million. AFP stated that these assets may be related to a theft of 950 bitcoins from a French cryptocurrency exchange in 2013. The man had previously been convicted of cybercrime such as selling League of Legends player data. Although no criminal charges were brought against the Bitcoin theft case, the court has ordered the confiscation of related assets, and the proceeds will be used for crime prevention and law enforcement measures.
