Today, I had the honour of breaking ground for the Castleton Pipeline Replacement Project, a critical 25.1 million investment that will improve water access for over 3,000 residents across Castleton, Friendship Gap, and Cleary Spring in St. Mary.
The upgraded system means stronger water pressure, fewer leaks, and reliable access to clean water for homes, farms, and future generations.
At the same time, we’re planning to upgrade the Castleton Botanical Gardens under the “Hills to Ocean”Project, which will strengthen Jamaica’s green spaces, boost ecotourism, and support climate resilience in rural areas.
This is Vision 2030 in action:
🇯🇲 Equitable Development
🇯🇲Environmental Protection
🇯🇲 Rural Revitalisation
As your Prime Minister, I remain committed to ensuring that no Jamaican is left behind, no matter where they live.
To the people of Castleton, this is your project. Use it, protect it, and grow with it. #ChooseJamaica
