According to Decrypt, the Solana wallet of DeGods founder Frank (Rohun Vora) was hacked, resulting in the sale of 16 DeGods NFTs and a loss of approximately 108 SOLs ($19000). The incident occurred three days after he announced his resignation as CEO. Frank confirmed to the media that it was caused by a hacker attack, denied rumors about him selling NFTs, and emphasized that he still holds a large amount of DeGods assets.
The price of DeGods flooring has dropped from a peak of $37000 in 2023 to around $1000 currently. Frank will hand over the project to anonymous team members Pasta and Chill this week, who personally still hold DEGOD ecological tokens worth over $50000. The NFT project has sparked controversy due to multiple cross chain migrations and also invested in BIG3 basketball league team shares in 2022.
