BlockBeats News: On May 15th, according to TheBlock, cryptocurrency market maker Wintermute announced that it will open its first US headquarters in Lower Manhattan, New York on June 1st. Simultaneously appoint policy veteran Ron Hammond as the head of policy and advocacy. Wintermute CEO Evgeny Gaevoy said, "As US policies towards digital assets and blockchain innovation become more friendly, we have decided to act quickly to establish a foundation in the world's financial capital, New York City." This move comes at a time when the Trump administration is adopting a supportive attitude towards the cryptocurrency industry, including appointing leaders of cryptocurrency friendly regulatory agencies.
