Semler Scientific: Accumulated 1510 bitcoins purchased in Q1, total holdings increased to 3808 bitcoins

According to Btcoinmagazine, Nasdaq listed company Semler Scientific has released its latest holdings data. In the first quarter of 2025, the company has purchased a total of 1510 bitcoins, increasing its holdings to 3808, valued at approximately $388 million at current market prices. Despite a net loss of $64.7 million in the first quarter, the Bitcoin investment achieved a return of 22.2%. The company completed an increase in Bitcoin holdings through operating cash flow and capital market financing, which was divided into two transactions: in January, it purchased 894 coins for $90.7 million, and in May, it invested another $59.6 million to increase its holdings of 616 coins. Affected by market fluctuations, the position incurred unrealized losses of $41.8 million. At the same time, the company reached a settlement agreement with the US Department of Justice, confirming a contingent liability of $29.75 million. Semler Scientific has launched a Bitcoin position data dashboard on its official website, updating investment information in real-time. The management of the company stated that the cash flow generated from its main business will continue to support the Bitcoin investment strategy. At present, the company has raised over 160 million US dollars through the issuance of convertible bonds and equity financing.
