Chorus One: Lido oracle hacked as isolated event with limited impact

According to Golden Finance, the hot wallet managed by Chorus One for voting on the Lido oracle was accessed by unauthorized entities, resulting in the transfer of 1.46 ETH. Our team has been working tirelessly and liaising with Lido Finance to investigate this incident. Therefore, the wallet is undergoing DAO voting to remove it from the oracle set and replace it with a new, securely generated address. Our preliminary investigation results indicate that this is an isolated incident with limited impact. The affected hot wallets can be traced back to 2021, and their original design intention was to maintain low balances to run Lido oracle machines. Therefore, it did not comply with the strict security standards applicable to other keys managed by Chorus One.
