Metzler analysts believe that the money market may be overly optimistic about the Federal Reserve's interest rate cuts this year. Metzler insists on its prediction that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates twice by 2025, and now expects the next easing policy to only be introduced in July, mainly due to the continued strength of the US labor market. According to LSEG data, the money market expects three interest rate cuts in 2025. Analysts expect Powell to focus on discussing price stability issues at the press conference. Especially the continuously rising inflation expectations are currently causing concerns among monetary authorities. Interest rate cuts are only possible when the weakness of the US economy is reflected in the labor market. (Golden Ten)
