According to MarketWatch, US treasury bond bonds were sold off sharply earlier this month, and Bitcoin has shown relative strength against US stocks and the US dollar in the past few weeks. However, Mark Hackett, chief market strategist of Nationwide Financial, believes that this does not mean that Bitcoin has suddenly become a traditional safe haven asset, or has become a value storage or defensive asset. Gold is obviously a defensive asset, while Bitcoin is more a risk preference asset than a safe haven asset. Only recently has it changed. Bitcoin bulls claim that it is "too early" to become a value storage means, but this trend deserves attention.
