Bitcoin Jesus' Roger Ver pays $600000 lobbying fee to Trump ally Roger Stone

According to a report by The New York Times, congressional documents show that Roger J. Stone Jr., a longtime ally of Trump, has been lobbying for "Bitcoin Jesus" Roger Ver, who is currently facing federal fraud and criminal tax charges. Since February of this year, Roger Ver has paid $600000 to Roger J. Stone Jr. for assistance in attempting to repeal the core tax provisions that constitute the relevant charges. According to previous disclosures by the US Department of Justice, Roger Ver had resided in California and renounced his US citizenship in 2014. He was arrested in Spain last year and the Department announced plans to extradite him at the time.
