Looking at the history of the Korean War: In the first four battles, both China and the United States knew each other's bottom line of combat power, especially in the fourth battle where the Chinese People's Volunteer Army fought very hard, exposing logistical and supply shortcomings, and both sides entered a tug of war. Politically, the United States also offered a deal, and in order to win the initiative in negotiations, the Chinese People's Volunteers fought their fifth battle. The entire Korean War lasted for over a year, and negotiations lasted for over two years. Reading history can tell today's events, but looking at flowers is still like last year's.
